Finals Game 7: Milano - Virtus BO 67-55

Milano defended their Serie A title. They overcame Virtus Bologna in the decisive seventh game of the title series to repeat as the champions. The game was mostly controlled by Milano. Virtus BO managed to win second period 20-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Virtus BO to just 5 points in third quarter. It was a great evening for the former international forward Luigi Datome (203-1987) who led his team to a victory scoring 16 points. Danish Shavon Shields (201-1994, college: Nebraska) helped adding 10 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. At the losing side Georgian Tornike Shengelia (206-1991, agency: Octagon Europe) responded with 13 points and the former international point guard Daniel Hackett (193-1987, college: USC) scored 7 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
