Loon-Plage used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Challans 67-56 on Friday night. Loon-Plage held Vendee Challans to an opponent 23.7 percent shooting from the field compared to 34.5 percent accuracy of the winners and made 20-of-26 free shots (76.9 percent) during the game. American guard Jordan Robertson (190-1996, college: Colgate) fired 20 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Guard Theo Rey (194-2000) chipped in 9 points and 6 rebounds. Robertson is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Loon-Plage's coach Quentin Wadoux used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bahamas forward Radshad Davis (195-1996, college: FIU) produced 18 points and 9 rebounds and forward Anthony Prugnieres (200-1992) added 10 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Loon-Plage will meet C'Chartres on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Vendee Challans will play against Quimper UJAP and hope to win that game.
