Regular Season Round 2: Saint Vallier - Hyeres-Toulon 89-80

There was a minor upset when Hyeres-Toulon was defeated on the road by Saint Vallier 89-80 on Tuesday. Saint Vallier made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. Power forward Jerome Cazenobe (204-1989) had a double-double by scoring 19 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and Ivorian point guard Jean-Francois Kebe (185-1994) chipped in 18 points during the contest. Swingman Junior Ouattara (191-2000) responded with 13 points and 5 rebounds and Serbian swingman Nikola Knezevic (200-1999) scored 14 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Saint Vallier will meet SO Maritime Boulogne in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Hyeres-Toulon will play against Besancon and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
