Regular Season Round 2: Iserlohn - Rostock II 91-81

There was a surprise result when Kangaroos won against Seawolves 2 in Iserlohn 91-81 on Tuesday. Samuel Mpacko (187-1998) notched 21 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort and Mathias Groh (205-2002) supported him with 16 points and 7 rebounds. Four Kangaroos players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 25 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists by forward Toni Nickel (204-2001) did not help to save the game for Seawolves 2. American guard Branden Maughmer (190-1999, college: Morehead St.) added 28 points and 9 rebounds for the guests. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Kangaroos will meet Eagles in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Seawolves 2 will play against RheinStars in Koeln and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
