Regular Season Round 4: Nymburk - Brno 69-72
Date: October 4, 2023
Brno can celebrate their first win this season after two consecutive losses. The victory is especially important as they edged much higher ranked Nymburk (2-2) on the road game in Nymburk 72-69. Brno made 16-of-21 charity shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of Lithuanian center Tomas Zdanavicius (203-1996, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 14 rebounds. American forward Greg Lee (206-1998, college: Penn St., agency: VM Hoops Agency) contributed with 11 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. International Jaromir Bohacik (198-1992, agency: Octagon Europe) replied with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds and the former international Martin Kriz (200-1993) added 12 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Nymburk. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Nymburk's coach Francesco Tabellini rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Brno (1-2) left bottom position moving up to seventh place. Nymburk at the other side keeps the fifth position with two games lost. They share it with Decin. Brno will play against higher ranked Kolin (#4) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Nymburk will play against Sokol Pisek and hopes to get back on the winning track.
