Regular Season Round 6: Le Portel - Roanne 51-95

Bottom-ranked Le Portel (0-6) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their sixth consecutive match to eighth ranked Roanne (4-2) 95-51 on Saturday evening. Roanne dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Le Portel's 30. They outrebounded Le Portel 36-23 including a 28-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Roanne especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.0 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Le Portel's players. Le Portel's coach gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Roanne have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Nanterre and Blois. Loser Le Portel still closes the standings with six games lost.
