No shocking result in a game when Skyliners outleveled on the road Muenster 91-67 on Saturday. Skyliners looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was American guard Cameron Henry (198-1999, college: Indiana St.) who scored 20 points and 5 rebounds. The other American import guard Booker Coplin (191-1997, college: Augsburg, agency: BIG) chipped in 17 points and 7 assists (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Five Skyliners players scored in double figures. American forward Nathan Scott (203-1999, college: EMU) produced a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds and Cosmo Gruehn (201-1998) added 7 points respectively for the hosts. Muenster's coach Goetz Rohdewald gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Skyliners will meet at home Uni Baskets in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Muenster will play against SparkassenStars in Bochum and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
