Torpan Pojat smashed Tampereen Pyrinto in Helsinki 84-39. The game without a history. Torpan Pojat led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Tampereen Pyrinto to just 4 points in third quarter and to 11 points in second half. Torpan Pojat held Tampereen Pyrinto to an opponent 19.6 percent shooting from the field compared to 44.0 percent accuracy of the winners. Torpan Pojat forced 25 Tampereen Pyrinto turnovers and outrebounded them 43-31 including 18 on the offensive glass. Tampereen Pyrinto's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Tampereen Pyrinto will play next round against Forssan Alku trying to get back on the winning streak. Torpan Pojat will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
