Pantterit used a home court advantage and won against the opponent from Hyvinkaa 92-83 on Sunday night. HyPo trailed by 16 points after 3 quarters before a 26-19 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 83-92 at the end of the game. Pantterit dominated down low during the game scoring 76 of its points in the paint compared to HyPo's 50. They outrebounded HyPo 55-31 including a 17-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Pantterit looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Swingman Nolan Orpana (195) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 16 rebounds for the winners and Ghanian guard Woeyram Bani (184-2001) chipped in 17 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists. Five Pantterit players scored in double figures. At the losing side swingman Antti Mattila (201-2005) responded with 24 points and guard Sami Marouf (188-1988) scored 8 points, 8 rebounds and 11 assists. HyPo's coach Tomi Moberg rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Pantterit will meet LrNMKY in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. HyPo will play against MuKi and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
