JA Vichy dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Poitiers' 36. Nigerian-American forward Emmanuel Omogbo (203-1995, college: Colorado St.) stepped up and scored 16 points for the winners and forward Mamadou Guisse (197-2001) chipped in 14 points and 6 rebounds. At the losing side Kevin Harley (194-1994) responded with 17 points and 5 rebounds and American guard Andy Cleaves II (188-1996, college: CS Stanislaus) scored 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. JA Vichy will meet at home Aix-Maurienne in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Poitiers will play against ALM Evreux and hope to win that game.
