Regular Season Round 5: Lorient - Poissy 75-69

There was a small surprise when twelfth ranked Lorient (2-3) beat at home 10th ranked Poissy (2-3) 75-69 on Saturday. Point guard Hugo Suhard (184-1992) stepped up and scored 22 points and 7 assists for the winners and guard Matthieu Robin (184-1992) chipped in 16 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Point guard Sebastien Michineau (182-1991, college: S.Idaho JC) responded with 18 points and 6 rebounds and Swiss guard Noah Burrell (193-1997) scored 15 points (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Lorient moved-up to tenth place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Poissy. Lorient will meet higher ranked C'Chartres (#6) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Poissy will play against Vitre (#4) and hope to secure a win.
