Regular Season Round 5: Aalst - Brussels 82-95

There was no surprise when bottom-ranked Okapi Aalst (0-5) was defeated at home by second ranked Circus Brussels (4-1) 95-82 on Saturday. Circus Brussels made 23-of-24 free shots (95.8 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for Circus Brussels especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 61.5 percentage. The best player for the winners was American power forward Brandon Horvath (208-1999, college: Utah St.) who scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. Center Yannick Desiron (208-1992) chipped in 10 points and 7 rebounds. Circus Brussels' coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Canadian forward James Jean-Marie (203-1997, college: Portland St.) produced 19 points and 9 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and Montenegrin Ivan Maras (207-1986) added 18 points and 4 assists respectively for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Circus Brussels have a solid series of four victories in a row. Circus Brussels keep a position of league leader.
