Everything could happen in Ulm at the game between two tied teams. Both eleventh ranked OrangeAcademy and 12th ranked Ehingen/Urspringschule had identical 1-2 record. This time OrangeAcademy used a home court advantage and won against the opponent from Allmendingen 104-87 on Saturday night. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Maximilian Langenfeld (198-2003) who helped to win the game recording 43 points (!!!) (on 14-of-16 shooting from the field) and French forward Noa Essengue (208-2006) who added 22 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. At the losing side Finnish point guard Valtteri Mervola (185-2002, agency: Blacktop Management) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and center Vincent Neugebauer (213-2002) scored 14 points and 8 rebounds. Four Ehingen/Urspringschule players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. OrangeAcademy (2-2) moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 11 other teams. Loser Ehingen/Urspringschule dropped to the tenth position with three games lost. They share it with 8 other teams. OrangeAcademy will meet Schwenningen (#13) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Ehingen/Urspringschule will play against Loewen and hope to win that game.
