Regular Season Round 3: Giessen - Koblenz 74-63

There was a minor upset in Giessen where Koblenz (1-2) was defeated by 46ers (2-2) 74-63 on Wednesday. 46ers forced 21 Koblenz turnovers. It was a great evening for Serbian forward Stefan Fundic (200-1994) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds. Slovakian point guard Simon Krajcovic (188-1994, college: LMU) helped adding 17 points, 6 assists and 4 steals. Four 46ers players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American guard Robert Hall III (193-1995, college: Cameron, agency: Blacktop Management) with 6 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import guard AJ Plitzuweit (188, college: S.Dakota) scored 13 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. 46ers will meet Titans (#5) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Koblenz will play against Vechta-2 (#14) and hope to win that game.
