Regular Season Round 3: Aris - Turk Telekom 68-66

A very close game took place in Thessaloniki between Greek Aris and Turkish Turk Telekom. Aris (1-2) got a very close home victory over Turk Telekom (1-2). Aris managed to escape with a 2-point win 68-66 in the game for the sixth place. It was a great evening for point guard Vasileios Toliopoulos (186-1996) who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Ivorian-American power forward Ismael Sanogo (203-1996, college: Seton Hall, agency: SLN) helped adding 12 points and 9 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American guard Tyrone Wallace (196-1994, college: California, agency: Pensack Sports) with 16 points, 5 assists and 4 steals and the other American import guard Jalen Adams (191-1995, college: UConn, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 10 points and 5 assists. Turk Telekom's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Aris will meet WKS Slask (#9) in the next round. Turk Telekom will play against ratiopharm Ulm and hope to win that game.
