There was a surprise result in Murcia where ninth ranked Infante (2-2) defeated higher ranked Ontinet (2-2) 75-71 on Saturday. Infante dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to Ontinet's 22. Infante forced 19 Ontinet turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of Javier Velasco (-2001) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and forward Alvaro Bernal (190) who added 13 points during the contest. At the losing side Nelo Ramos (-2002) responded with 21 points and center Adrian Sanchez (204-2001) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Infante moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 42 other teams including defeated Ontinet.
