Bottom-ranked Amager (0-4) is still winless. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their fourth consecutive match to second ranked Aabyhoj (3-1) 71-51. Aabyhoj dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Amager's 30. They outrebounded Amager 54-31 including a 38-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. International center Caroline Wich (185-1996, college: Portland St.) nailed a double-double by scoring 18 points and 14 rebounds for the winning side and guard Freya Jensen (178-2006) accounted for 15 points. The former international center Rikke Fabricius (186-1992, college: CMU) came up with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds and guard Julie Jungslund (169-1998) added 8 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Amager in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Aabyhoj maintains second place with 3-1 record having just three points less than leader Falcon. Amager lost their fourth game in a row. They still close the standings with four games lost. Aabyhoj will play against Herlev (#4) at home in the next round. Amager will play against SISU and hopes to get finally their first victory.
