Regular Season Round 8: Herlev - BAC 51-82
Date: October 22, 2023
Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both eighth ranked BAC and 9th ranked Herlev had identical 1-4 record. But Herlev was not able to use a home court advantage and was crushed by the opponent from Aarhus 82-51 on Sunday night. BAC outrebounded Herlev 51-39 including 16 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. The winners were led by forward Tobias Hemmersam (197) who scored that evening 15 points and 8 rebounds and Magnus Madsen (201-2003, agency: Blacktop Management) supported him with 10 points and 8 rebounds. Even 13 points by swingman Carlo Urne (195-2000) did not help to save the game for Herlev. Mile Nedic (200, college: Lindenwood) added 3 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. BAC (2-4) moved-up to seventh place. Herlev lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth position with five games lost. BAC will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Herlev will play against Copenhagen (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
