Olympiacos shot 62.3 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three nailing 16 long-distance shots on high 53.3 percentage. Olympiacos players were unselfish on offense dishing 31 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Kolossos HH's players. It was a good game for American Alec Peters (206-1995, college: Valpo) who led his team to a victory with 16 points and 6 rebounds. The former international forward Kostas Papanikolaou (204-1990) contributed with 12 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Five Olympiacos players scored in double figures. Point guard Iosif Koloveros (185-2002) answered with 13 points and 5 assists and American-Nigerian guard Daniel Utomi (198-1997, college: USC) added 10 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Kolossos HH. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Olympiacos will play against Panathinaikos in Athens in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Kolossos HH will play on the road against Apollon Patras (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
