Everything went according to plan when seventh ranked OrangeAcademy (3-2) edged on the road 12th ranked Schwenningen (1-4) 105-102 on Sunday. OrangeAcademy looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. French forward Noa Essengue (208-2006) nailed a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 14 rebounds for the winning side and guard Maximilian Langenfeld (198-2003) accounted for 25 points and 5 assists. Center Christian Okolie (206-2000) came up with 27 points and 7 rebounds and American Luke Lawson (203-2000, college: UVA Wise) added 19 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Schwenningen in the defeat. Four OrangeAcademy and five Schwenningen players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. The victory was the third consecutive win for OrangeAcademy. They moved-up to third place, which they share with 8 other teams. Loser Schwenningen dropped to the eleventh position with four games lost. They share it with 6 other teams. OrangeAcademy will meet at home league's leader Dragons Rhoendorf in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Schwenningen will play against Breitenguessbach (#14) and hope to win that game.
