Leader CSKA-Junior delivered the eighth victory. This time they crushed 10th ranked UNICS-2 (2-5) 92-57 in Kazan. CSKA-Junior dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to UNICS-2's 22. CSKA-Junior forced 19 UNICS-2 turnovers and outrebounded them 49-30 including a 19-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. CSKA-Junior brought some defensive toughness making 10 blocks. It was a good game for Nikolay Sadikov (194-2005) who led his team to a victory with 19 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Guard Daniil Klyuchenkov (199-2004) contributed with 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners. Five CSKA-Junior players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. CSKA-Junior will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. UNICS-2 will play again at home against the league's leader CSKA-Junior (#1) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
