An interesting game forGornik (8-1) which played road game in Krosno against second-best Miast Szkla (7-3). First ranked Gornik managed to get a 9-point victory 79-70 . It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Miast Szkla. Gornik dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Miast Szkla 's 28. They outrebounded Miast Szkla 35-19 including a 26-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. Gornik looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a good game for the former international center Piotr Niedzwiedzki (211-1993) who led his team to a victory with 15 points and 7 rebounds. Naturalized Ukrainian Witalij Kowalenko (204-1984) contributed with 11 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four Gornik players scored in double figures. Gornik's coach Andrzej Adamek used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Michal Jankowski (191-1987, agency: Interperformances) answered with 25 points and American guard Myles Rasnick (185-1999, college: Maryville, TN) added 12 points and 4 assists in the effort for Miast Szkla. Gornik have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. They maintain first place with 8-1 record. Miast Szkla at the other side dropped to the third position with three games lost.
