Rather expected game when 6th rankedKastela (4-4) was smashed by fourth ranked Gorica (6-2) in Velika Gorica 89-67 on Saturday. It was a great shooting night for Gorica especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. Guard Martin Klepo (193-1999) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists. Forward Jure Gunjina (203-1992, college: GSW) contributed with 17 points and 6 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four Gorica players scored in double figures. Guard Antonio Klepo (190-2004) replied with 18 points and Mateo Kedzo (205-1984) added 14 points in the effort for Kastela. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Gorica have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 6-2 record. Kastela at the other side keeps the sixth place with four games lost. They share the position with Hermes and Samobor.
