Regular Season Round 8: Amager - Herlev 73-70

The most exciting game of round 8 in the Dameligaen took place in Kastrup. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of one of their biggest challengersHerlev (2-5) to fourth ranked Amager (2-4) 73-70 in the game for the third place. Strangely Herlev outrebounded Amager 36-0 including a 15- advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international guard Anna Seilund (174-1993, college: USF) who helped to win the game recording 25 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international center Rikke Fabricius (186-1992, college: CMU) who added 12 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Forward Bianca Braikia (179-2003) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) and American guard Anastasia Warren (173, college: Stony Brook) scored 24 points. Amager moved-up to third place. Herlev at the other side dropped to the fourth position with five games lost.
