Important game to mention about took place in Nicosia. Fifth rankedAPOP (2-5) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging one of their biggest challengers ENAD (1-5) 37-35 in the game for the fourth place. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 13-9 . But ENAD won second period 8-6 . However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. APOP dominated on the defensive end, holding ENAD to just 6 points in fourth quarter. They held ENAD to an opponent 22.4 percent shooting from the field compared to 25.5 percent accuracy of the winners. Panagiota Themistokleous (185-2000) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds. Point guard Maritsa Efstathiou (168-1998) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Naturalized British Chrystalla Merkouri (182-1975) replied with 19 points and 8 rebounds and Nansi Al-tzamal (179-2002) added 0 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for ENAD. APOP moved-up to fourth place. ENAD lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom position with five games lost.
