Regular Season Round 13: Monferrato - Trapani 67-78

Serie A2 top team - Trapani (13-1) managed to deliver another win on Wednesday. This time they beat eleventh ranked Monferrato (4-10) in Casale 78-67. American Chris Horton (202-1994, college: Austin Peay, agency: Octagon Europe) fired a double-double by scoring 12 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. His fellow American import guard JD Notae (188-1998, college: Arkansas) chipped in 13 points. Naturalized American Dalton Pepper (197-1990, college: Temple, agency: SLN) produced 19 points and 7 rebounds and American guard CJ Kelly (196-1998, college: UCF, agency: BIG) added 17 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Trapani have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. They maintain first place with 13-1 record. Loser Monferrato dropped to the eighth position with ten games lost. They share it with 5 other teams. Trapani will meet at home Milano Urania (#6) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Monferrato will play against Vigevano and hope to secure a win.
