Regular Season Round 12: Estudiantes B - Azudense 86-49

No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Estudiantes B (8-2) crushed 13th ranked Azudense (1-12) in Madrid 86-49 on Saturday. Estudiantes B forced 28 Azudense turnovers. The winners were led by power forward Pablo Orenga (205-2003) who scored that evening 10 points and 7 rebounds and Miguel Sola supported him with 11 points. Four Estudiantes B players scored in double figures. Even 12 points and 7 rebounds by German Hierro (-1996) did not help to save the game for Azudense. Dominican Luis De La Cruz (-1996) added 12 points and 5 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Estudiantes B have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 8-2 record. Azudense lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the thirteenth place with 12 games lost. Estudiantes B's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Madrid Real Canoe.
