There was no surprise in Reykjavik where 6th rankedSkallagrimur (5-7) was defeated by fourth ranked KR (10-2) 102-85 . KR shot the lights out from three nailing 17 long-distance shots on high 56.7 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists. It was a good game for American point guard Nimrod Hilliard IV (183-1993, college: NCCU) who led his team to a victory with 32 points and 8 assists. Croatian forward Dani Koljanin (202-1996, college: UALR) contributed with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 12 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners. Five KR players scored in double figures. KR's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American guard Darius Banks (196-1998, college: Chattanooga) replied with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds and forward Magnus Valgeirsson (196-2003) added 21 points in the effort for Skallagrimur. KR have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Fjolnir. Skallagrimur lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the seventh position with seven games lost. They share it with Thor.
