There was no surprise when 13th rankedDuesseldorf (6-12) was crushed at home by eighth ranked 46ers (11-8) 90-62 on Saturday. Giessen forced 19 Duesseldorf turnovers. Slovakian point guard Simon Krajcovic (188-1994, college: LMU) scored 17 points and 7 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Serbian forward Stefan Fundic (200-1994) chipped in 20 points during the contest. Four 46ers players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American swingman Raiquan Clark (198, college: LIU Brooklyn) with 13 points and his fellow American import guard CJ Anderson (197-1996, college: UMass, agency: One Motive Sports) scored 5 points and 6 rebounds. Duesseldorf's coach Andac Yapicier gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Giessen moved-up to sixth place. Loser Duesseldorf keeps the thirteenth position with 12 games lost. They share it with Vechta 2 and Koblenz.
