Second Stage Round 1: Olomoucko - Slavia 86-91

We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when Slavia beat Olomoucko in Prostejov 91-86. Guard Radek Pumprla (193-1995) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 assists for the winners and American forward Lesley Varner Jr (201-1998, college: UTRGV, agency: SLN) chipped in 16 points and 9 rebounds. At the losing side British guard Amin Adamu (193-1997, college: Montana St.) responded with 27 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and American guard Jase Townsend (193-2000, college: San Diego) scored 21 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Slavia will play against NH Ostrava at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Olomoucko will play against Srsni Pisek and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
