Rather expected game in Bucuresti where 6th rankedTargu Jiu 2 (6-9) was crushed by third ranked RBA Getica (9-6) 82-62 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by RBA Getica. Targu Jiu 2 managed to win fourth quarter 25-18 . But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. RBA Getica forced 26 Targu Jiu 2 turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was Radu Dumitru (193-2004) who scored 24 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Cristian Vieru (180-2004) chipped in 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. RBA Getica's coach Tane Spasev used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Alexandru Mitu (-2005) who recorded 20 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and Flavius Toropu (-2005) added 19 points respectively. Newly promoted RBA Getica maintains third place with 9-6 record having just three points less than leader Steaua B. Targu Jiu 2 at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the fifth position with nine games lost. They share it with 5 other teams.
