Round 13 most important game was a defeat of league's leaderE.Ashkelon (9-3). They were defeated by second ranked M.Rehovot (10-2) 84-78 on Friday night. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Naturalized American forward Josh Freund (204-1997, college: Roanoke) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and guard Omer Ben David (188-2001) chipped in 11 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists. Five M.Rehovot players scored in double figures. M.Rehovot's coach Ohad Cohen used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side swingman Eliad Tal (198-2002) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds and naturalized American center Ben Eisenhardt (208-1990, college: Whitman) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds. M.Rehovot have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader. E.Ashkelon at the other side dropped to the second place with three games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by M.Rehovot.
