There was no surprise when 6th rankedCSU ASE (7-9) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked Targu Mures 2 (9-7) 89-85 on Tuesday. The hosts trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 21-12 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Targu Mures 2 forced 20 CSU ASE turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Forward Andrei Muresan (198-2003) fired a double-double by scoring 19 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Botond Szilveszter (193-2002) chipped in 8 points and 15 rebounds. Robert Spoitoru (-2005) produced 33 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds and forward Wilhelm Brosser (200-1996) added 17 points, 8 rebounds and 12 assists respectively for lost side. Newly promoted Targu Mures 2 maintains fourth position with 9-7 record, which they share with Timisoara 2. CSU ASE lost third consecutive game. CSU ASE at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the fifth place with nine games lost. They share the position with Craiova 2 and Stiinta.
