Regular Season Round 4: Bashkimi - Tirana 83-40

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of AlbanianTirana (2-1) in Prizren on Tuesday night. Visitors were rolled over by Kosovan Bashkimi (4-0) 83-40 . It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Tirana. Bashkimi dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Tirana 's 30. They outrebounded Tirana 66-32 including a 23-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Bashkimi looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Adrienne Williams (180-1991, college: Illinois) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 26 points and 17 rebounds. The other American import forward Sarah Mgbeike (185, college: OLLU) contributed with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 15 rebounds for the winners. Williams is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Bashkimi players scored in double figures. Bashkimi's coach felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Morina Bojka (-1999) replied with 13 points and 9 rebounds and Cuban point guard Oyanaisy Gelis (172-1983) added 9 points and 5 assists in the effort for Tirana. Bashkimi have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending Kosovan champion maintains first position with 4-0 record. Tirana at the other side keeps the third place with one game lost.
