No shocking result in a game when fifth rankedChomutov (8-8) crushed 8th ranked Slovanka MB (3-12) in Vodochody 91-59 on Wednesday. Chomutov made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Najai Pollard (180-1997, college: Delaware St.) who led the winners and scored 16 points and 7 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). Eliska Brejchova (181-2003) accounted for 17 points for the winning side. Four Chomutov players scored in double figures. Forward Eliska Halova (180-2001) came up with 20 points and 5 rebounds and the former international point guard Eliska Mircova (176-1996) added 14 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for Slovanka MB in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Chomutov maintains fifth place with 8-8 record. Slovanka MB lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the eighth position with 12 games lost.
