We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 8th rankedEmlak (10-13) lost to ninth ranked Botas (10-12) in Adana 61-71 on Thursday. Botas looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The winners were led by American point guard Lindsay Allen (173-1995, college: Notre Dame) who scored that evening 16 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists and the other American import power forward Lyndra Weaver (185-1987, college: Virginia, agency: LBM Management) supported her with 22 points and 6 rebounds. Four Botas players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 17 points and 13 rebounds by Australian forward Alanna Smith (193-1996, college: Stanford) did not help to save the game for Emlak . The former international Sehernaz Cidal (183-1995) added 17 points. Botas have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to eighth place. Loser Emlak dropped to the ninth position with 13 games lost.
