Second Stage Round 2: Prostejov - Chomutov 72-64

There was an upset when Chomutov was defeated on the road by Prostejov 72-64 on Friday. Prostejov forced 21 Chomutov turnovers. The best player for the winners was point guard Jakub Slavik (167-2004) who scored 21 points and 5 rebounds. Guard Adam Klepac (194-2000) chipped in 10 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Prostejov players scored in double figures. Center Ondrej Kovar (204-2001) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds and forward Nestor Boyko (193-1999) added 19 points and 5 steals respectively for the guests. Prostejov will meet at home Polabi in the next round. Chomutov will play against Ostrava and hope to secure a win.
