The most exciting game of round 14 in the National League took place in Shomron. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 8th rankedH.Kfar Qasem (5-7) to sixth ranked E.Shomron (7-6) 83-80 on Saturday evening. E.Shomron looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. 24 personal fouls committed by H.Kfar Qasem helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was naturalized Polish center Ido Flaisher (208-1998, college: Hawaii) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 17 rebounds. American guard Jordan Coblin (185-1997, college: Rogers St.) chipped in 23 points. Naturalized Romanian Yaniv Solomon (200-1994) produced a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds and naturalized American point guard Paul Delaney (188-1986, college: UAB) added 15 points and 5 assists respectively for the guests. Five E.Shomron and four H.Kfar Qasem players scored in double figures. H.Kfar Qasem's coach Hanan Hirshovitz tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. E.Shomron moved-up to fifth place, which they share with I.Nahariya. Newly promoted H.Kfar Qasem keeps the eighth position with seven games lost. They share it with M.Rishon.
