The game in Brno supposed to be also quite interesting. 6th rankedUSK Praha (11-8) played at the court of eighth ranked Tygri Brno (10-8). Tygri Brno did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 81-61 on Sunday. Tygri Brno outrebounded USK Praha 45-26 including a 33-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was David Nejezchleb (193-2006) who scored 27 points and 8 rebounds. Swingman Benjamin Dostal (192-2005) chipped in 17 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Matyas Jezek (192-2005) who recorded 22 points and 7 rebounds and point guard David Latal (181-2005) added 13 points respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. USK Praha's coach tested ten players seeing no chance for a win. Tygri Brno maintains eighth position with 10-8 record. USK Praha lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with eight games lost. They share the position with Nymburk and Plzen. Tygri Brno's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Brno to the arena Basket Brno.
