Not a big story in a game when 8th rankedSaarlouis (10-11) were defeated at home by third ranked Giessen (15-5) 87-81 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was American forward Josiah De La Cerda (203, college: OUAZ) who had a double-double by scoring 29 points and 15 rebounds. Naturalized Serbian Nemanja Nadjfeji (198-2000) chipped in 11 points and 8 rebounds. Four Giessen players scored in double figures. Guard Kelvin Okundaye (187-1993, college: WOU) produced 33 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 5 assists and American forward Xander Bowers (201, college: ACU) added 8 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Saarlouis' coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Giessen moved-up to second place, which they share with Langen. Loser Saarlouis dropped to the seventh position with 11 games lost. They share it with Mannheim and Hagen-Haspe.
