Everything went according to plan in Herten where sixth rankedLoewen (11-10) beat 10th ranked Leverkusen 2 (8-14) 69-58 on Saturday. Loewen forced 25 Leverkusen 2 turnovers. The best player for the winners was point guard David Ewald (185-1999) who scored 7 points, 8 rebounds, 8 assists and 5 steals. American guard Jamal Wright (179-1997, college: High Point) chipped in 16 points. Four Loewen players scored in double figures.
