Very expected game when 10th rankedAlytaus (3-14) was smashed at home by sixth ranked SKM I (10-7) 102-69 on Tuesday. The game without a history. SKM I led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Alytaus ' 38. SKM I forced 21 Alytaus turnovers and outrebounded them 49-31 including a 32-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. SKM I looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Guard Airidas Petraitis (189-2006) nailed 19 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winning side and swingman Titas Dabriega (196-2006) accounted for 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Five SKM I players scored in double figures. SKM I's coach Arvydas Menkevicius felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Point guard Nojus Kazlauskas (181-2006) came up with 16 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists and Matas Osinskas added 12 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Alytaus in the defeat. SKM I moved-up to fifth place, which they share with VKM. Loser Alytaus keeps the tenth position with 14 games lost. They share it with Druskininku.
