Everything went according to plan when fifth rankedI.Nahariya (9-8) outplayed at home 8th ranked E.Shomron (7-9) 100-81 on Friday. I.Nahariya dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to E.Shomron 's 18. They outrebounded E.Shomron 45-27 including a 18-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Naturalized Polish point guard Yehonatan Yam (182-1999) notched 29 points to lead the effort and point guard Amit Reuven (182-1998) supported him with 19 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Even 23 points by American guard Jordan Coblin (185-1997, college: Rogers St.) did not help to save the game for E.Shomron . Guard Shachar Doron (193-2005, agency: Avi Zilberman) added 17 points and 7 rebounds. Five I.Nahariya and four E.Shomron players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. I.Nahariya maintains fifth position with 9-8 record. E.Shomron lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth place with nine games lost. They share the position with H.Kfar Qasem.
