Regular Season Round 25: Hagen BG - ETB Miners 96-82

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss ofETB Miners (19-4) on the court of second ranked Hagen BG on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by Hagen BG 96-82 . It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of ETB Miners. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Hagen BG looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Shawn Scott (185-1996, college: SW Christian) who helped to win the game recording a triple-double by scoring 30 points, 16 rebounds and 10 assists. Dutch forward Quincy Tjon Affo (203-2000, college: Hill JC) contributed with 15 points for the winners. Scott is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Hagen BG players scored in double figures. Canadian-Italian point guard Justin Andrew (183-1997, college: St.Francis X.) answered with 24 points and 4 assists and Montenegrin center Dzemal Selimovic (205-1999) added 7 points and 16 rebounds in the effort for ETB Miners. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Hagen BG have an impressive series of twelve victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with ETB Miners and SC Wizards.
