Very predictable result when third rankedGiessen (17-5) rolled over 11th ranked Soeflingen (8-15) in Ulm 94-65 on Sunday. Giessen made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game. American forward Josiah De La Cerda (203, college: OUAZ) nailed 34 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds for the winning side and Croatian point guard Vladan Lazic (188-2001) accounted for 20 points. Coach 's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 11 players saving starting five for next games. Center Marko Markovic came up with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 12 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws) and power forward Nils Dejworek (207-1995, college: Valdosta St.) added 17 points respectively for Soeflingen in the defeat. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Giessen . They moved-up to second place, which they share with Langen. Loser Soeflingen keeps the eleventh position with 15 games lost. They share it with Muenster 2.
