Polkowice are 23/24 EBLK champions. They overcame Gorzow Wlkp. on the road tonight to complete the sweep of the championship series. Gorzow Wlkp. was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. American point guard Erica Wheeler (170-1991, college: Rutgers) orchestrated the victory by scoring 25 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. She was named the Finals MVP. Serbian-Bosnian center Dragana Stankovic (195-1995) contributed with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. International center Weronika Telenga (192-1995) replied with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds and Greek guard Elena Tsineke (170-1999, college: S.Florida) added 19 points and 5 assists in the effort for Gorzow Wlkp.Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
