No shocking result in a game in Erfurt where third rankedLoewen (15-9) defeated 12th ranked Ehingen/Urspringschule (7-17) 102-98 on Saturday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Bball Loewen looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Paul Albrecht (208-1993) who helped to win the game recording 36 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds (perfect from downtown making all seven shots !!!) and Alieu Ceesay (196-1997) who added 18 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was center Vincent Neugebauer (213-2002) with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field) and Jared Grey (202-2005) scored 20 points and 5 rebounds. Five Bball Loewen and four Ehingen players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Bball Loewen maintains third position with 15-9 record having just three points less than leader Leverkusen, which they share with Wolmirstedt and Berlin BG 2000. Loser Ehingen/Urspringschule keeps the twelfth place with 17 games lost. They share the position with Itzehoe and Herford.
