Second Stage Round 8: Zlin - Chomutov 96-75

Very important is a road loss of second ranked Chomutov (9-17) against fifth ranked Zlin (9-17) on Thursday night. Visiting Chomutov was crushed by Zlin in Zlin 96-75. Zlin outrebounded Chomutov 47-30 including a 35-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Zlin players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of center Tomas Voslajer (211-1990) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 11 points, 13 rebounds and 7 assists and guard Adam Siska (184-2002) who added 12 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. Forward Nestor Boyko (193-1999) responded with 21 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists and Vitek Slabihoud scored 15 points and 8 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Zlin have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with defeated Chomutov.
