It looked good early as Kobrat took a 8-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Seagulls took control and eventually winning the game that evening by 18 points. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. The former international forward Okko Jarvi (193-1996, agency: Blacktop Management) nailed 24 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side and American swingman Rene Rougeau (198-1986, college: UNLV, agency: Blacktop Management) accounted for 13 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Seagulls' coach Vesa Vertio allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American forward Theo Akwuba (211-2000, college: Ole Miss) came up with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds and the other American import point guard Taz Sherman (184-1999, college: WVU) added 7 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists respectively forKobrat in the defeat.
