Very important is a home loss of second rankedMegaridas (19-11) against fifth ranked Milonas (18-12) on Saturday night. Host Megaridas was defeated by Milonas in Megara 99-83 . It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Megaridas. They outrebounded Megaridas 36-25 including a 27-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Milonas shot the lights out from three nailing 15 long-distance shots on high 51.7 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Megaridas ' players. American guard Zack Bryant (188-1997, college: Georgia South) had a double-double by scoring 26 points, 6 rebounds and 11 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American-Ukrainian point guard Steve Burtt (189-1984, college: Iona) chipped in 23 points and 8 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was American point guard Christian Bradford (185-1995, college: Radford) with 27 points and 4 assists and guard Angelos Gatzias (195-1994) scored 15 points and 7 rebounds. Four Milonas and five Megaridas players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Milonas have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain fifth position with 18-12 record. Megaridas at the other side keeps the second place with 11 games lost. They share the position with Iraklis and Eleftheroupoli.
